Why Use HydroPeptide?

In order for the skin to look youthful it requires Collagen, Elastin and Hyaluronic acid. All three are contained within the skin in high levels when we are children, but gradually decline as we age.

There are over 28 different types of collagen contained within the skin. When you buy skin care creams that state they contain collagen, they usually do not contain all of the types they require to actually work.

HydroPeptide is different. HydroPeptide contains Petides which are short chains of amino acids or “messenger molecules”. They act as cellular communicators to stimulate the skin to produce more of it’s own collagen and elastin! This means that you get more of all of the types of collagen your skin needs!

Did you know that your usual run of the mill cream can’t actually penetrate deeply enough to the lower levels of the skin to work? Only a cream that has been micronized can do this. Our peptides have been micronized, and attached to fatty acids, liposomes or carrier peptides so that they are compatible with the skin and enhance penetration.

Upwards of 60% of skin care is absorbed through the pores, This means that unless you use an exfoliator with alpha hydroxy acids (AHA’s) in to deeply cleanse the pores, any skin cream you use will just sit on the skins surface. HydroPeptide use AHA’s in all it’s cleansers and toners, so your skin is already for your serum and cream!

Some skin creams may leave your skin feeling soft, but this can sometimes just be superficial, and is the result of mineral oil. Mineral oil gives creams their slip and slide, but with prolonged use can block the pores as it is a cheap by product of petroleum, and this lessens the effect of the cream!

HydroPeptide contains triple weight hyaluronic acid which acts as a dermal filler while also penetrating to the deeper layers of the skin to plump cells and optimally hydrate your skin. This smoothes lines and wrinkles and stimulates the production of elastic from within!
